About Leah:

Leah is a Toowoomba based Accredited Practising Dietitian. Leah dived straight into private practice after graduating from QUT in 2014, and has specialised in women’ health while growing her own clinic, Balance Nutrition, over the past 2½ years.

Leah is particularly interested in thyroid disorders, as well as fertility, pregnancy & postnatal nutrition after weight loss surgery. Leah sets out to nurture each clients’ relationship with food and provide support in a respectful, supportive environment.

About the webinar:

There are a number of important factors that need to be considered when working with a client who is post weight loss surgery and pregnant. These women are at a greater risk of nutritional deficiencies which may lead to adverse pregnancy outcomes such as Intrauterine growth restriction or preterm birth.

In this free webinar, Leah explores the current research surrounding prenatal nutrition post weight loss surgery to provide an update on recommendations.
